Are you aware that 8 out of 10 women are wearing the wrong sized bra?
Some of the most voiced complaints from women is that their bra straps slip of their shoulders, their wires dig in and that their bra creeps up their back. These complaints to us mean that they are wearing a poorly fitting bra.
It is important to keep in mind that when you choose a bra sizes can differ from each brand, style, colour and fabric.
Tip 1. Cups too small...
If your breasts seem to be bulging from the top the sides or underneath your wire then your cup is too small. Try the next size cup. If the above is still happening continue to go up a cup size until you find the right size.
Tip 2. Back too big...
If you notice throughout the day your bra rides up your back, the straps fall of your shoulders and your breasts fall out from the bottom of the bra, then your back is too big.
If you go down a size in the back, make sure you go up one cup size as this is the equivalent to your current size.
e.g.
If you were a 16DD and the cup is a perfect fit but it is riding up the back you would then try a 14E.
Tip 3 The cups are wrinkly, particularly at top and sides.
This can be a sign that the cup size is too big so by trying a cup size smaller it should improve the fit. But, if the wrinkling is only through the front of the cup (around the nipple area) this can be an indication that the cup size is actually too small. The wrinkling occurs in this instance because the breast cannot fit into the cups properly, so try one cup size larger.
Tip 4.The wires stick out at the front or dig in under my arms.
There are many reasons why this could happen. It can be because of the style of the bra or an individual’s shape. The main reason is because the cup size is most likely too small and the breasts are forcing the wire away from your body.
